| Regular member: | Individual members who have scientific or practical experiences in air-conditioning or sanitary engineering. |
Student member: | Members who have graduated courses in science and technology including graduate school students. |
Supporting member: | Companies, organizations and individuals who agree to support SHASE financially. |
Other member: | Honorary member, special member and lifetime member, who are commended according to the SHASE rule. |

SHASE issues "Transactions of the Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan" every quarter year (January, April, July, and October) to circulate the member's research outcomes.
Those who wish to become a "Transactions"-subscribing member are to fill in the application form (2 categories; Individual subscribing member and supporting subscribing member) and to attach the document that proves the payment of the subscription. The category of membership and the fee are as follows:
